Remember Ka-Toque: Lutong Barkada, the cooking show produced by GMA-7 for its defunct sister channel, QTV-11?
The chefs of the show had a reunion on February 6, 2019.
Present at the reunion were Nino Logarta, Darlo Lopez with wife Rosan, Mitchie Sison, Rosebud Benitez, Jeremy Favia, and Jonah Trinidad.
JL Cang, one of the show's male chefs, was not spotted at the reunion.
Nino posted their reunion photo on his Instagram account.
He wrote in the caption, "15 years after(almost) #katoquelutongbarkada"
Last December 2018, the Ka-Toque barkada also had a reunion. Photos of that event were posted by Rosebud on her Instagram account.
She wrote, "It doesn’t matter if you have loads of friends. What’s important is that you have REAL ones. I’m thankful I have this bunch of people in my life."
Ka-Toque: Lutong Barkada is QTV-11's cooking show that aired every Saturday from November 2005 to May 2009.
Among the hosts, only Rosebud, Nino, and Jeremy have remained active on television.
Rosebud left the show in 2008 to host another cooking show, titled Quickfire: 10-minute Kitchen Wonders. This can be considered as one of the most successful shows aired in QTV-11 since it lasted for four years.
Nino, on the other hand, hosted Ka-Toque's replacement show, Daddylicious. He also hosted the cooking show Sarap at Home.
He recently appeared on GMA News TV's Poptalk. He serves as chef consultant to Jennylyn Mercado's Sarap with Family.
After appearing in QTV's Healthy Cravings, Jeremy moved to TV5. He had a cooking show with his mom Lalie in a show called Chef vs. Mom.
He now serves as chef-host of the medical show, Healing Galing.
