Who will be the El Ultimo Participante?

Find out who will compete with Janna Dominguez (center) in the Ultimo Duelo of Pinoy Fear Factor: Argentina, South America. Will it be Marion dela Cruz (left) or Jommy Teotico (right)?

After having the most registered number of world records in Pinoy Fear Factor, Manuel Chua, the 27 year-old businessman from Cabanatuan City, was unexpectedly eliminated in Ultimo Ronda de Eliminacion (Final Elimination Round) last February 18.

"Baka ganun lang talaga siguro, hanggang dito lang ang lipad ko. Pero ganun talaga, kasama lang sa laro. Sabi ko nga nung simula ‘di ba? It's just a game," says Manuel, who is best remembered for breaking two Fear Factor world records via the "Slippery Car" and "Net under Helicopter" stunts.

The first challenge is called Enterado Vivo (Buried Alive) where participantes will stay inside a hollow space for five minutes while the trapdoor above them is buried with sand. When the sand enters the trapdoor, the participantes must extract themselves out of the cavity and run to the Fear Factor logo. The slowest to finish the task will then be eliminated.

Marion dela Cruz got the fastest time of 3:53 which registered another world record in the history of Fear Factor, beating the previous record of 4:09 set by a Fear Factor contestant from Turkey.

Jommy Teotico clocked in a time of 4:40 while both Janna Dominguez and Manuel had trouble while performing the stunt. Janna, who had her head buried in sand and had to be rescued by the Argentine safety crew, was able to finish the stunt in 7:43.

On the other hand, Manuel's knees were trapped in the trapdoor, which added more or less four minutes to his time. As a result, he finished the stunt in 8 minutes and 23 seconds, making him the 9th eliminado of Pinoy Fear Factor: Argentina, South America.

"Bad trip! Nailabas ko na yung kalahati ng katawan ko eh, na-stuck pa! Sobrang namimiligro ako, tagal kong naipit."

What does he feel after being eliminated in the reality show?

"Masakit talaga para sa kin kasi sinubukan kong ibigay lahat," says Manuel sadly. "Sinubukan kong ibigay lahat ng kaya ko pero ganun lang talaga...sobrang disappointed ako sa sarili ko. Kung hindi ko maibibigay sa baby ko yung eto, yung panalo dito, magi-strive na lang ako. Mas pagbubutihan ko yung buhay ko. Saka para mas mapaganda ko yung buhay niya [Manuel's young daughter]."

TARANTULA CHALLENGE. Meanwhile, Marion dela Cruz, Janna Dominguez, and Jommy Teotico moved on to the second challenge of the Ultimo Ronda de Eliminacion. The Final Three had to place tarantulas inside their mouths without harming them for two minutes and eat them afterwards in the stunt called Arañas En El Boca.

Last night, Pinoy Fear Factor host Ryan Agoncillo revealed that Janna completed the tarantula stunt in just 2 minutes and 56 seconds. The two other men completed the stunt in 3 minutes while the person to be eliminated clocked in at 3:32. However, the show ended without revealing the participante who will compete against Janna in the Ultimo Duelo.

Who will be the first El Ultimo Participante of Pinoy Fear Factor?

Will it be Janna who has shown strength in stunts involving exotic creatures and edibles as in the "Three-Division-Box" and "Strawberry Conveyor Belt" stunts?

Or will it be Jommy who is the most consistent performer of the trio? He also snatched the "Fear Factor" world record in the "Car Container Re-entry" stunt and won the P50,000 pot in the second non-elimination round of Pinoy Fear Factor.

Not to be dismissed is Marion who is considered to be the most agile of the three as displayed in the "Tarzan Swing" "Water Coffin," and "Buried Alive" challenges.

One of them will be named the El Ultimo Participante and will be able to get the P2 million cash prize and the house and lot.

Watch the last episode of Pinoy Fear Factor: Argentina, South America tonight, February 20, on ABS-CBN right after Showbiz News Ngayon. The recaps will be shown this Saturday at 7 p.m. on Studio 23.
