Now on its second season, the easiest yet most embarrassing game show ever, is once again in search for the person who will say "I am smarter than a fifth grader." Starting this Friday, May 15, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? is back on Q Channel 11's primetime programming.
On each episode, program host Jeff Foxworthy asks an adult contestant questions taken from first to fifth grade school subjects. Questions may come from from Social Studies, Science, Math, Geography, and Spelling, and only those who remember what they've learned back in elementary may win the lot.
Every correct answer corresponds with a cash prize which increases as the contestant goes up the payout ladder. A maximum cash prize of $1 million awaits the player on the bonus round.
Along the way, the player can be assisted by a "classmate" in answering the true or false and multiple choice questions. Options to peek, copy, and save are given to the player for the chance to use the classmate's answer as his or her own. This season, it will depend on fifth graders Olivia, Jonathan, Bryce, Francesca, and Jenna whether or not the contestant survives each round.
Upon flunking out with an incorrect answer or dropping out to end the game, the contestant must profess to the camera that he or she, in fact, is not smarter than a fifth grader.
Catch Season 2's all new episodes starting this Friday, May 15. Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? airs every Friday, 8:30-9:30pm, only on Q Channel 11.
