'Asian Treasures' goes Asian this week

Angel Locsin and Robin Padilla lead the cast and crew that will fly to several Asian countries for the taping of Asian Treasures.


Umalis ngayong araw, March 14, patungong Thailand ang 39-strong cast and crew ng Asian Treasures, ang action-adventure series ng GMA-7. This include Production Manager Ms. Redgie Acuña-Magno, Executive Producer Angie Castrence, director Eric Quizon, the six main stars (Robin Padilla, Angel Locsin, Marvin Agustin, Diana Zubiri, Marky Cielo, and Glaiza de Castro), pati na rin si Jaime Fabregas.

Hectic ang magiging schedule ng production while in Thailand dahil airport pa lang, nakatakda na silang mag-taping. Magti-taping din sila sa Pratunam—ang pinaka-Divisoria ng Thailand sa may main area ng Bangkok—sa Handicraft Center na part ng usual tour na ginagawa sa Thailand, sa Elephant Camp just outside Bangkok, at sa Grand Palace na nadadaanan galing airport.

May street scenes ding kukunan ang production where the cast will ride the Tuk-Tuk, ang Thai version ng ating tricycle. After Bangkok, the group will go to the northern part of Thailand, sa Chiang Mai.

Dire-diretso na rin ang overseas trip ng Asian Treasures dahil lilipad din sila patungong Beijing sa China and the mountainous country of Mongolia. Kung may oras pa, nagbabalak ding mag-tape sa India ang Asian Treasures.
