Christopher de Leon is tapped to portray an agnostic doctor in ABS-CBN's primetime series May Bukas Pa.

Christopher "Boyet" De Leon, graces television once again as he appears on ABS-CBN's primetime show May Bukas Pa. He was last seen in the 2008 teleserye Kahit Isang Saglit, which starred Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo.

As he enters the world of May Bukas Pa, Boyet takes on the challenging role of portraying an agnostic doctor. The Boyet's character's encounter with Santino will surely bring about a big change in his beliefs.

Boyet describes the beliefs of his character by saying, "Naniniwala siya na mayroong Higher Being, pero hindi siya nananampalataya at pinaniniwalaan lang niya yung science and medicine. Yun yung nagustuhan ko dun sa role kaya ko sinunggaban. At the same time, yung storya, nagkaroon ng plague yung Bagong Pag-asa Town and then parang he is out to save the world pero may kulang."

When asked on how his scenes with Santino (Zaijian Jaranilla) went, Boyet shared, "Ay! Great kid. Such a wonderful kid. Very intelligent, very nice. Pangalawang araw ko pa lang ‘to but I don't see any tantrums. Ang ayaw ko sa mga child actors, yung kung magsalita pa-baby, pwera kay Santino. When he says his lines, very well, diretso tsaka walang pa-baby. Tsaka ang lalalim ng mga tagalong na kahit ako, magpo-pause muna ako bago ko sabihin yung mga lines, e, he could say it. Hindi yung 'daddy daddy kailangan na tayong kumain [baby voice].' He is very natural. He is such a good actor. He is blessed."
