With Halloween Eve a few hours away, Celebrity Duets 3 aired a treat or trick party earlier tonight, October 31, at Studio 5 of the GMA Network Center in Quezon City.

All celebrity contestants wore their costumes with great chutzpah while delivering their chosen number for the evening. Brazilian-Japanese model Akihiro Sato assumed one of the most identifiable characters from the lot as he took on the persona of Spartan warrior Leonidas from the film 300. Akihiro was joined by ex-South Border vocalist Luke Mejares in his rendition of Elvis Presley’s "Blue Suede Shoes."

Carla Abellana of Rosalinda accompanied seasoned actress Gina Alajar in singing the Spice Girls upbeat single "Stop." Gina’s son, Geoff Eigenmann, who is also Carla’s love team partner, was in the studio to cheer the duo on.

"Lord of Scents" Joel Cruz earned the amusement of the three judges namely, Danny Tan, Tessa Prieto-Valdes and Freddie Santos, for his creativeness. Complemented by former Viva Hot Babe Andrea del Rosario, Joel brought with him an improvised perfume bottle during their performance of "Bulaklak." Joel sprayed bubbles on Andrea during their performance to complete the visual effect.

Photographer Niccolo Cosme came donning a Wizard of Oz inspired character as he and singing partner, Frenceska Farr, performed their version of "Over the Rainbow." Niccolo’s Tin Man costume was praised by Tessa, calling the photographer contestant’s outfit as "the cutest" among the others.

Last to perform was Jomari Yllana, who along with partner Randy Santiago, emulated the vampire Dracula.

Jomari’s performance of the standard rock n’ roll tune, "Mony Mony," drew the applause of the judges, who all commended Jomari’s obvious ease in performing a rock number. "You can bite anytime!" judge Tessa told Jomari after his electrifying performance.

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez hosted the special episode minus Ogie Alcasid, who is currently overseas to honor another commitment. All of the contestants can have a sigh of relief momentarily as no one was booted out for the special episode.
