GMA-7 has reformatted its Sunday variety show as SOP Fully Charged. The new show promises to deliver pumped up music, the latest dance hits and refreshing segments led by music icons Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, Ultimate Singer-Songwriter Ogie Alcasid, King of Soul Janno Gibbs and Queen of Soul Jaya.
For three solid hours, viewers were treated to a star-studded premiere featuring Kapuso stars. The November 22 episode also featured the Top 30 of Starstruck V. Plus, Rosalinda stars led by Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann took their bow as the primetime program bids farewell this week.
SOP Fully Charged also served as one of the venues for the music video premiere of the unity song written by Ogie Alcasid and performed by 80 recording Filipino artists titled "Kaya Natin ’To."
La Diva (composed of Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia) took the spotlight anew after their rendition of the National Anthem in last week’s WBO Welterweight championship fight between Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto. The La Diva also launched their first album last Sunday.
Adding life to the party are the show’s new segments. Making the show more colorful are the newest members of SOP Fully Charged consisting of winners and finalists of various Kapuso star-search programs as well as teenstars from the Dingdong Dantes-Rhian Ramos starrer Stairway to Heaven.
This GMA-7 variety show also allows today’s internet-savvy people to interact with their favorite Kapuso stars.
SOP Fully Charged airs every Sunday right after Joey’s Quirky World on GMA-7.
