2nd part of Isang Tanong airs this Sunday, November 29

In the November 29 episode of Isang Tanong, the Presidential aspirants are given the chance to ask one question to their political rivals.

With barely a week remaining in the deadline for the filing of the Certificate of Candidacies for persons aspiring for the highest political office in the land, the key players have already surfaced, it seems. From the ranks of senators, cabinet secretaries, the religious and the environmental sector, and even the exclusive once-president’s club, they come.

Isang Tanong: The GMA News and Public Affairs Presidential Forum brings together all the Presidential wannabes in one television production to answer questions of pressing importance primarily to help the electorate choose who among the current hopefuls is deserving of our one vote come election day.

Find out what will Former president Joseph Estrada’ answer to Winnie Monsod’s one question: how come the rate of poverty in the country rose during his term even while his rallying slogan was Erap Para sa Mahihirap?

Senator Manny Villar will answer Howie Severino’s one question: That he has already overtaken a multinational fastfood company in terms of advertising spending.

Examine MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando’s reply to political expert John Neri’s one question: Why run for the presidency when you could not even muster unanimous support from the Metro Manila mayors?

Estrada, Villar and Fernando are joined by former Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro, Brother Eddie Villanueva, Olongapo City Councilor JC delos Reyes and environmentalist Nick Perlas.

They are grilled by a panel of experts that include Mel Tiangco, Jessica Soho, Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales, representatives from Gmanews.TV, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, Catholic Media Network, Philippine Bar Association, Institute for Political and Electoral Reform, and select universities and colleges.

Even the aspirants get to field their one question: in a random selection process each candidate answers a pre-taped question from one of the other presidentiables.

Hosted by multi-awarded broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez, Isang Tanong: The GMA News and Public Affairs Presidential Forum airs this Sunday, November 29, at 10:45 in the evening, right after Show Me Da Manny.
