Fil-Am Rye Burgos ends his stint on StarStruck V

Rye Burgos, a 20-year-old Fil-Am model from Los Angeles, California, is the first international aspirant to be booted out from StarStruck V.

The first international aspirant in StarStruck V’s Final 13 sealed his fate and officially ended his stint in GMA-7’s reality-based artista search.

Rye Burgos got the boot in the second elimination night last Sunday, December 13. The Fil-Am model from Los Angeles ran out of charm and received the lowest number of text votes from the viewers after languishing at the bottom three with Ian Batherson and Nina Kodaka.

The remaining 12 survivors are Steven Silva, Sef Cadayona, Piero Vergara, Ian Batherson, Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Diva Montelaba, Sarah Lahbati, Princess Snell, Rox Montealegre, Nina Kodaka and Zeryl Lim.

At this point of the competition, the Final 12 should not only pull off solid and remarkable performances as they climb their way to the Final 4 but also expose their versatility that will blow the audience and council away in this week’s artista tests and challenges.

Personal accounts including post-performance confessionals and behind-the-scenes drama from the survivors themselves will be revealed exclusively in StarStruck Shout Out. Hosts Raymond Gutierrez, Dennis Trillo, and Carla Abellana along with the segment hosts Mark Herras, LJ Reyes, Arci Muñoz and Paolo Avelino will disclose to the viewers the secrets of the Final 12 and bring daily updates on their quest to become the next ultimate survivors of the fifth season.

StarStruck V airs Saturdays right after Pinoy Records and Sundays right after Kap’s Amazing Stories while StarStruck Shout Out airs Mondays to Fridays after Chika Minute Explosive on GMA-7.
