Joshua Dionisio recently had to go through an awkward yet unforgettable experience in his teenage life: his very first kiss. And whom did he share this precious moment with? None other than young actress Michelle Madrigal.
Though scripted, as the kiss was part of the story of GMA-7's youth drama series First Time, Joshua was admittedly nervous because it was truly his first time to lock lips with a girl. Thankfully, Joshua had Director Andoy Ranay by his side to help him get ready for the scene.
"Buti na lang po nandyan sina Direk Andoy para tulungan ako maghanda sa eksena. Kinabahan po talaga ako. Nag-concentrate po akong mabuti para hindi ako mapahiya. Sinabihan din po ako ni ate Michelle na huwag po akong kabahan kaya naging maayos naman ang kinalabasan," Joshua revealed.
In the story, Lukas (Joshua Dionisio) finds himself questioning his real feelings for Val (Michelle Madrigal). While working on a school project, Lukas asks her about what it's like to kiss another person. All of a sudden, Lukas gives Val a quick smack on the lips, which stuns Val. Little do they know that Cyndi (Barbie Forteza) was outside the door long enough to witness what happened.
Cyndi naturally gets mad at Val and Lukas, most especially. To make matters worse, the incident reaches everyone in the school, which ultimately compromises Val's reputation as a teacher. Natalie (Bea Binene) spreads rumors saying that both Cyndi and Val are easy but Baste (Jake Varas) comes to Cyndi's defense.
How will the kiss affect Lukas and Cyndi's friendship, as well as Cyndi's relationship with her aunt Val? Will Lukas and Val face disciplinary actions?
Find out the answers this week as more drama unfolds on First Time right before 24 Oras on GMA-7.
