Earlier this week in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010, Apartment Team and Villa Team were pitted in a game of sepak takraw with a twist. A balloon was used instead of the traditional rattan ball. Each player wore a flipper and used it to kick the "sipa." Both teams were very enthusiastic while playing the game. And once again, the Villa Team won the match. For this feat, their prize was a chess board from the Apartment Team.
Losing another challenge depressed the Apartment housemates. And to further add to the "blues," Kuya made an unexpected announcement which rattled them. During the past few days, Kuya noticed that all of them have violated his house rules, hence he decided to collectively punish them. Since most of them were not used to doing household chores, the housemates residing in the Apartment were tasked to be the household service crew of the other team for a day. They will wear uniforms and perform specific household tasks.
Romeo "Potz" Jalosjos III and Fretzie Bercede were the assigned "cooks" while Joe Vargas and Kazel Kinouchi were the "cleaners" of the house. Appointed to be in charge of the laundry were Patrick Sugui and Rebecca Chiongbian. Ivan Dorschner and Yen Santos were the "dishwashers" of the day.
The cooks made their way to the Villa. They were told by Kuya to cook pork nilaga and serve the Villa Team. Even though they were "first time" cooks, the dish they prepared was well appreciated by the rival housemates.
Joe and Kazel then tried their best to clean and spruce up Villa Team’s territory. Patrick and Rebecca did the laundry and the Villa housemates lent them a hand in washing clothes. Dishwashers Ivan and Yen cleaned up all the dishes.
Valuable lessons were learned from the household service crew task. The Apartment housemates realized that the job of a helper is an important and difficult job and should not be taken lightly. Helpers should be treated with kindness and respect.
