ABS-CBN revives one of its family-oriented series on television, Wansapanataym, starting this Saturday, September 11.
Viewers will soon get to watch a new set of lesson-filled stories featuring today's brightest stars and remake of Wansapanataym classics starting with Inday Bote. Melai Cantiveros is in the lead role of this two-part episode.
She will be caught in a love triangle between a rich guy named Edward (portrayed by Jon Avila) and a junkshop owner named Greg (portrayed by Rayver Cruz).
Just like in the original movie starring Maricel Soriano, Inday Bote is about a woman who collects junk items for a profit. She does a good deed for an old woman who hands her a magical bottle.
She is surprised to learn that the magical bottle contains two dwendes (dwarves) portrayed by Johan Santos and Cathy Remperas who will help Inday Bote in her journey.
Amy Nobleza, who used to be a little dreamer of Pinoy Dream Academy, is cast as the trusty friend of Melai's character.
Wansapanataym: Inday Bote also stars Chokoleit and Joy Viado.
"A show which highlighted life's values and moral lessons 6 years ago is now back and is ready to touch the hearts and lives of viewers once again," said ABS-CBN Business Unit Head Deo Endrinal about this Kapamilya show.
Wansapanataym will air every Saturday night at 7 pm on ABS-CBN starting September 11.
