Noah director Lino Cayetano commends Zaijian Jaranilla (in photo) for being able to show consistency in his actions as the jungle boy Eli.

Noah star Zaijian Jaranilla has shown that he is able to be consistent in his actions when assuming his role as the jungle boy Eli.

"Bukod sa very expressive eyes ni Zaijian, may angking talento talaga ang bata. Hindi maikakaila yun. Yung continuity ng character niya, yung mga simpleng detalye hindi niya nakakalimutan. Iba na ang set namin ngayon, pero yung kilos niya dapat yung tipong nasa gubat pa rin, at hindi iyon madali. Pero kita naman siguro na magaling na na-e-execute ng bata ang mga eksena niya. Nakakabilib," said Lino Cayetano, one of the directors of Noah.

As the jungle boy conquers the city, he finds out the dangers that surround him in this concrete jungle. His father Gabriel (Piolo Pascual) is shot during a police encounter but he is able to survive surgery. Meanwhile, Ruth (Jodi Sta. Maria) crosses paths with the jungle boy without knowing that he is her son Jacob. She follows him to the hospital where Gabriel is recuperating, resulting in an emotional reunion between mother and child.

Eli’s adventure continues as he is set to meet new characters along the way.

Zaijian’s second major project on primetime, Noah, gained the number one spot on the overall nationwide ratings for the month of August based on Kantar Media’s data as it earned an average of 35.9 percent against its rival show on GMA-7, Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown, which registered 27.1 percent.

Watch Eli (Zaijian Jaranilla) get the feel of the city on Noah, which airs weeknights after TV Patrol on ABS-CBN.
