"Actually, me being here sa Pilipinas has made me appreciate them more. So everytime we're talking sa computer, or sa telephone, na-appreciate ko talaga. I miss them so much. Pero I know that it's God's plan, so it's okay. So I have to be strong and I need to grow up someday," pahayag ni K-La.
"Nagulat po ako kasi I don't know anyone here sa Pilipinas. So I'm shocked! Thank you for watching Star Power po. It's very comparative to my feeling, kasi they're appreciating the show, they're appreciating all of our hard work," sabi niya.
"I don't know if you guys know but I worked at Cinnabon. I was rolling cinnamon buns, and working at the cashier. I was working ever since I left. Kasi when I was 14, I wanted to make my own money. Parang gusto ko, maging independent.
"So kung gusto ko, you know, kumain ng ice cream, or buy those pants, I started working. Alam ko po about the hard work required to make money. So, I know how to save money, and how to spend it wisely."
"It has always been a dream of mine to contribute to a foundation to help children. When we were helping street children, it really, really opened up my heart and it made me feel like we can make a difference... using our passion, our singing to help contribute to the children, to the unfortunate.
"I really want to contribute, and it has always been a dream of mine to contribute to charity," sabi ni K-La.
