Mara Clara finale reaches 43.4 percent rating nationwide based on Kantar Media; reaches top slot in Twitter trending topics

Millions of Filipinos tuned in to ABS-CBN last Friday, June 3, as Mara Clara aired its final episode. Young stars Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes led the cast as Mara and Clara, respectively.

It earned a 43.4% national rating according to Kantar Media last June 3 (Friday), making its finale the highest-rating episode of the TV series, and also the highest-rating teleserye episode to date aired on ABS-CBN this year.

The show also reached the top slot in trending topics of Twitter Philippines and discussions about the character of Bobby Andrews allowed the hashtag #Amanthe to peak at the fourth slot.

Overwhelmed by the good news, Mara Clara stars have nothing to say but ’thank you’ to all Kapamilya viewers who supported the show.

Meanwhile, the Mara Clara young stars are slated to do a new teen show on ABS-CBN very soon.

On the other hand, other ABS-CBN primetime series also did well in the nationwide ratings last Friday.

100 Days to Heaven, topbilled by Ms. Coney Reyes and Xyriel Manabat, came in second in the top 20 programs nationwide, according to Kantar Media, with a 37.4% national rating.

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin stood strong on the third spot as it earned a national rating of 37.1%. Coco Martin, Andi Eigenmann, and Maja Salvador star in this TV series along with Ms. Lorna Tolentino and John Estrada.
