Would Shamcey Supsup agree to go out with President Noynoy Aquino?

Shamcey Supsup gave a courtesy call to President Noynoy Aquino before he left for his flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Miss Universe 3rd Runner Up Shamcey Supsup gave a courtesy call to President Noynoy Aquino last night, September 18, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport VIP lounge. PNoy met with the beauty queen as he was about to leave for the United States to attend the Open Governance Partnership upon the invitation of U.S. President Barack Obama.

During the September 19 episode of Kris TV aired on ABS-CBN earlier today, Shamcey recalled her brief chat with the President.

Kris Aquino revealed that PNoy, her brother, informed their family that he would be able to meet with Shamcey.

"Nag family lunch kami, sinasabi niya sa amin na makikilala ka na niya...Sinabi niya, may maghahatid na sa akin at ikaw raw. Did you exchange a few words?"

Shamcey said with a smile, "Yeah! [laughs] He congratulated me and he said that he was so proud that I gave honor to the country. And we had a photo before when he congratulated me when I won Bb. Pilipinas and he signed it. I have a souvenir."

Kris asked the beauty queen, "Hindi niya sinabing pa-deport na natin ang boyfriend mo?"

Shamcey laughed heartily at what Kris said. She then explained, "He [Pnoy] had to talk to some people."

Kris then asked Shamcey, "Honestly, if you didn’t have any attachment, and he asked you to have dinner with him, would you?"

The statuesque beauty replied, "Why not?"

The sister of PNoy was visibly delighted by her answer as she exclaimed, "I like that answer." Kris added, "Honest to God, lahat naman tayo gusto natin pang-Miss Universe ang makatuluyan ni Presidente.

"Like I said, nothing is impossible with God and I’m sure your boyfriend is hating me like anything."

FEELING TRAPPED? Shamcey candidly admitted that joining the beauty pageant wasn’t her idea in the first place.

"When I joined Bb. Pilipinas, it wasn’t really my dream. It was my mom who wanted me to join. Nung nanalo ako, I thought it was a trap for me already. Kasi parang hindi ko tanggap na kailangan kong mag-compete again. I was in denial for quite some time," admitted Shamcey.

"But when I think about it, what I can do for the county, yun ang nag-push sa akin that I should do my best kasi ang dami-dami na gustong sumali at ang dami-daming nangangarap. Tapos nilagay ako dun, dapat i-appreciate ko yun at dapat gawin ko ang best ko kasi ako ang nandun sa posisyon."
