Kim Chiu reveals that her acting idols include Claudine Barretto and Judy Ann Santos

When asked to talk about her dream roles, Kim Chiu says that she wants to portray triplets or a disabled person in the future.

Kim Chiu has revealed the dream roles that she wants to portray in the future.

Us Girls host Megan Young had the chance to interview the young actress during a set visit to Kim’s teleserye, My Binondo Girl.

Kim gained fame as one of the housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 1. She eventually won the said reality show and became part of the popular Kimerald tandem composed of her and Gerald Anderson.

How was Kim’s life before she joined ABS-CBN’s reality show?

"Simple lang, nagse-serve ako sa fast food chains. Sa totong buhay, gusto ko maraming ginagawa. Gusto ko busy ako at gumagalaw ako."

Did she really want to become an artista at the time?

"Hindi, wala. Wala akong background sa acting. Hindi ako active sa school...di ba sa school may role play, role play? Nahihiya ako...ako ang tagasulat."

When asked to enumerate her favorite teleseryes, Kim cited the ABS-CBN shows Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Pangako sa ’Yo, and Esperanza.

The said shows were topbilled by Claudine Barretto, Kristine Hermosa and Judy Ann Santos, respectively.

Kim also mentioned that she prefers to go to the gym, go malling or watch a movie in her free time.

With regards to her dream projects, Kim reveals: "Gusto ko yung mga kakaiba, like triplets or kambal or may kapansanan or bulag or walang paa or walang kamay."

Kim will soon be seen in an upcoming horror movie titled The Healing, which will be topbilled by actress-politician Vilma Santos.
