Tito, Vic and Joey triumvirate to be honored during the Golden Screen TV Awards

The Entertainment Press Society will honor outstanding programs and personalities this Tuesday, November 29, at the Teatrino Greenhills in San Juan as it stages the Golden Screen TV Awards 2011.

The awards night will be hosted by Miss Universe 4th runner up Venus Raj, actor Mikael Daez and actor-TV host John Lapus. Comedienne Candy Pangilinan is a segment host.

The 2011 Golden Screen TV Awards hands out trophies in 52 categories.

The Helen Vela Lifetime Achievement Awards will be conferred on former Vice President Noli de Castro (news broadcast), ABS-CBN President and Maalaala Mo Kaya host Ms. Charo Santos-Concio and the durable triumvirate of Sen. Tito and Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon as the iconic hosts (in comedy) of the long-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga!

Performing in the opening number are Ryza Cenon, Sef Cayadona, Rocco Nacino and Enzo Pineda, stars of GMA-7’s danserye, Time of My Life.

Also performing are: ASAP Rocks mainstay Gab Valenciano, as well as young stars from the noontime show, Hey It’s Saberday, Morisette Amon, Krissha Viaje, and Claire Cruz.

Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola will take the stage to dish out a wacky number.

The Golden Screen Awards gathers the outstanding shows and talents in the industry. The star-studded event is sponsored by Laguna Governor Jeorge "ER" Ejercito, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Senator Tito Sotto and Denz Trading and Marketing. It is a project of the Entertainment Press Society.
