Arthur Solinap is the second jury member in Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown

There are now two members in the jury of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown: Chuckie Dreyfuss (left) and Arthur Solinap (right).

In the last reward challenge called "Abot Kamay ang Yaman," deejay-host KC Montero was able to win food not only for himself but for the other members of the Apolaki Tribe.

Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown host Richard Gutierrez told KC that as the winner, he was entitled to eat steak and mashed potatoes. He gave the spaghetti to Maey while the chocolate cake went to Gino Dela Peña.

During the Tribal Council aired last night, January 3, Richard asked KC why he chose to give the spaghetti reward to Maey Bautista and the glass of water to Albert Betong.

KC Montero replied "Right before we saw mga rewards, sinabi ni Maey Bautista ’sana spaghetti, sana spaghetti.’ That was the last thing na narinig ko before I saw the prizes. She has been working very hard, cooking at the camp, making meals, making sure everything is nice and clean...That wasn’t so hard for me to choose...at the end, sinabi ni Albert, ’okay lang, tubig sa akin’..."

Arnold Aninion came in second during the said reward challenge. The Survivor host asked Arnold to identity the four castaways whom he would have picked to receive food and given the chance to read letters from loved ones.

Arnold revealed: "First would be my partner John, then KC, Gino and Mara. He added, "This is my original tribe members. These guys are really close to me... It’s my duty to them to give the first four prizes."

The host further inquired if he and the four tribe members have a very strong bond, they have formed an "alliance." "I guess you can say that. It’s just based on the relationship" was The Philippine Volcanoes’ athlete’s reply.

Albert Betong was the next castaway placed on the "hot seat" for questioning.

Who among the castaways shall he give the last four types of food namely tokwa [tofu], tuyo [dried fish], candy and water?

Albert candidly expressed, "Si Gino, John, Arnold at KC. Pero hindi si KC ang tubig." He added with a laugh.

John Ordulio was then questioned by Richard. He wanted to find out why KC gave the "sandwich" reward to Arnold and to him, the "monay" reward.

John simply answered, "Di ko alam. Based siguro sa trust level.

LOVE LETTERS FROM HOME. Richard inquired from Arthur Solinap if he was surprised that he was one of the castaways chosen to have his loved one’s letter read to him.

Kasi medyo siya emotional sa mom niya....sobra siyang emotional at that time.

The reality game show host focused his attention on Mara Yokohama and Stef Prescott. He inquired if either of them expected to receive a favor from KC since they were part of the original Bulan tribe.

Mara simply said, "Ako, hindi naman.

Based on last tribal council, wala na akong in-expect."

Richard shifted the discussion to the immunity challenge called "I Love You Pole." During the challenge, Richard announced that whoever agrees to have a Survivor tattoo will have immunity in the next tribal council.

The host asked castaways Albert, KC and Stef why they agreed to have a Survivor tattoo during the challenge.

Totoong tattoo pala yon, such a painful experience. Bawat needle, ’Oh my God.’ Gusto ko din at that time maging safe. First time ko pa magpa-tattoo kaya sobrang meaningful itong tattoo kong ito."

KC, on the other hand pointed out, "I don’t think I needed that immunity for tonight. I was gonna fall...parang bonus lang yung immunity."

Stef admitted, "Honestly, kailangan ko yung immunity. Yung nangyari last tribal council, parang it was a hit on the head."

Richard asked Arnold what he felt when he was able to set a record on "I love you pole" challenge.

"Unbelievable! was Arnold’s answer.

Maey was a revelation during the "I Love You Pole" challenge since she remained on the pole for more than three hours. Her reply elicited a lot of laughter from the rest of the tribe.

Richard then asked the members of the Apolaki Tribe to name those whom they do not trust.

KC declared: "I don’t trust women. I have a hard time with women. I’ll just stay away from them."

After the talk, the castaways voted. Mara earned 3 votes but Arthur got 6 votes, making him the seventh castaway and the second jury member.

For his parting message, Arthur said: "May respeto pa rin ako sa kanila kasi kahit papaano, binoto nila ako, marami akong sorry narinig sa likod.
