Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi and their two kids help explain MTRCB’s Strong Parental Guidance rating

Carmina Villarroel, Cassy, Mavy and Zoren Legaspi star in an infomercial explaining the new rating system for television being implemented by the MTRCB.

May panawagan si Chairperson Mary Grace S. Poe Llamanzares sa mga kinatawan ng iba’t ibang TV networks hinggil sa bagong ipinatutupad classification rating ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), ang SPG o Strong Parental Guidance.

"I hope that you realize... the reason why we’re putting this [is because] a lot of programs [on television] may have sensitive materials, but they are worthy [of attention] and not because they are bad projects or bad materials."

"They may have cinematic, literary values... [and] of course, there may be beautiful films that you don’t want your children to watch because they are not right [or suitable for them].

"So, for us, let us encourage the networks to regulate themselves and use SPG.

"Let us not punish them for having SPG shows. That is not their responsibilities; for doing good materials, perhaps, but also giving enough warning for our parents. That’s the nature of SPG."

"Please tell your readers not to be wary of SPG; it’s not a bad thing, at all," aniya pa.

CARMINA AND ZOREN AS ENDORSERS.

Years Old Not Allowed) at R-18 (Restricted, For Adults Only).

"This is a pleasant surprise!" nakangiting pagtukoy ni Mary Grace.
"They [Zoren and Carmina] made time to be here. So the level of commitment is clearly established. Thank you!"

INFOMERCIAL.

"For a very special project, as the SPG [ad campaign], we were lucky to have worked with people who were willing to donate their time and effort; and expertise... for we believe in the advocacy, we believe that it’s a first for the MTRCB.

"It’s really warranted and very educational," pagtukoy ni Direk Milo, na ang debut indie film, Sanlaan (2009) ay naging competition entry sa Cinemalaya Film Festival.

Ang direktor ng SPG Ad campaign ay isa ring indie filmmaker of note, si Veronica Velasco, na mayroon ding award-winning Cinemalaya entry, ang Last Supper No. 3 (2009).

Kasama ni Velasco sa produksiyon ng ad campaign sina: Maria Alma dela Pena (Director of Photography), Jennifer Laurel (AD), Jose Paulo Diaz (Production Manager), Andrew V (Soundman), Roderick Manalo (Production Designer).

"All these people donated their time and effort.

Gayundin ay pinasalamatan ni Manet Dayrit, bilang in-charge sa post-production ng infomercial, ang mga tauhang nag-trabaho sa post-prod, "for giving us their free time; for the love of the film and television industries."

Kabilang sa mga nabanggit ang mga nag-coordinate sa post-prod, tulad nina: Rizza Cruz, EJ Sy and Rachel Manalac, colorist Richard Planas; Jerome Marco and partners, for the motion graphics; Mike Ideoma and Ms. Alice Torres, of Wild Sound, for the audio mixing.
