Sarah Geronimo gives up ASAP to star in her solo musical variety show, Sarah G Live

In a previous interview, Sarah Geronimo expressed her gratitude for her ASAP family. "In a way, parang naging training ground ko po ang ASAP. ’Yan po ang nag-improve sa akin." Starting this Sunday, the Popstar Princess will star in her own musical variety show called Sarah G Live.

Sarah Geronimo recently made news in the Internet as she reigned the popular microblogging site Twitter for four consecutive days. The phrase ’Sarah G. Day’ started to trend worldwide last Sunday when the Popstar Princess guested in three ABS-CBN shows namely ASAP 2012, The Buzz, and Gandang Gabi Vice to promote her very own live solo musical variety show, Sarah G. Live. It is set to start airing this Sunday (February 26) at 8:30 pm.

Indeed, ’Sarah G. Day’ continues as every week TV viewers will witness a braver, bolder, and fiercer Sarah every Sunday night. Aside from showcasing her singing prowess, the pop royalty will also share in the show real life experiences and never-before-seen ’Sarah G. moments.’

In preparation for this new endeavor, Sarah will no longer be seen in ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show, ASAP. The Popstar Princess bid farewell to her co-hosts last Sunday, February 19. In a previous interview with The Buzz, Sarah expressed her gratitude for her ASAP family.

"In a way, parang naging training ground ko po ang ASAP. ’Yan po ang nag-improve sa akin.

"Tumulong sa aking mag-improve as a performer, as singer... sila po ang nag-welcome sa akin talaga with open arms talaga.

"Kahit baguhan pa lang po ako, nangangapa pa po ako, grabe po ang tiwalang ibinigay nila sa akin.

"Ang ABS-CBN din po ang unang nagbigay sa akin ng teleserye and this time, ito na po ang my very own musical-variety show."

From being the 15-year old singing champion of Star for a Night, Sarah truly had come a long way with all her achievements as a recording artist, concert performer, actress, host, and even product endorser.

Now, the princess redefines the popstar with a weekly concert on TV that everyone will surely be talking about. Sarah will be joined in by co-host Luis Manzano, musical director Louie Ocampo, choreographer Georcelle Dapat-Sy, and director Erick Salud. Sarah G. Live also features G Force and Gab Valenciano as dance performers and a special guest co-host every week.

Get ready for the grandest live concert experience this Sunday in Sarah G. Live, starting 8:30pm, after Rated K.
