After his boxing match in Bakbakan '06, Cesar expresses his disgust at a top San Juan hospital.

Cesar Montano expressed his disgust over the way a San Juan hospitalhandled his brother, who was dead on arrival in its emergency room onNovember 11.

PO3 Ronald Manhilot was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Memorial MedicalCenter in San Juan after suffering a cardiac arrest. He did not reachthe hospital alive. He was 47 years old.

According to Cesar, after his brother’s death, his body was just hauledinto a “bodega” inside the hospital that contained “constructionmaterials.”

“He’s been serving the PNP for quite a while. Nalungkotlang ako dahil yung Cardinal Santos it’s a good hospital. Wala silang morgue, meron sila pero under construction. Meron silang ganun, isang bodegang lalagyan ng construction materials,”Cesar said in an exclusive interview with Philippine EntertainmentPortal (PEP) after his boxing match in Bakbakan ’06 last November 18 at the Aliw Theater.

Cesar charged the hospital of alleged negligence.

“My three nephews and my sister-in-law and my brother [Josefino],maraming witnesses. Nagalit nga and they are asking for a room [toplace Ronald’s body]. I think it’s unfair.

Dapat it has to be fair.

When asked whether he will sue the hospital, Buboy [Cesar’s nickname]said: “I do not know, I am not so sure. Just sharing this. Gusto kolang makarating kay Mayor JV Ejercito. I know hindi niya paliligtasinito.”

As of this writing, the Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center has not issued a formal statement on the incident.
