Mo Twister admits he can't play his own game

Apr 18, 2007
"Hindi ako showbiz, mahiyain talaga ako. I can't do what my guests do, and I'm very open about that. Ako, duwag ako, e, para to play my game. I can't do it. I'll not do it," says DJ Mo Twister.

DJ Mo Twister strikes again! But this time, hindi sa kaniyang sariling radio program kundi sa Showbiz Ka! ng RPN-9 hosted by Pat Daza na napanood last April 16.

The tables were turned because instead of him asking the "Forbidden Questions," ang mga invited entertainment writers na sina Jojo Panaligan, Liza Endaya, and this writer ang nagtanong kay DJ Mo.

"There's that one week na guest namin si Maui Taylor. Inisip ko, what Maui's good at. Hindi naman siya kumakanta. Pag-aarte niya, hindi naman siya magaling. Then, I realized, she's good at being open about her life, outspoken. That's how about it. After Maui guested, ang dami nang write-ups sa tabloid na Maui did this, Maui did that. That's how forbidden questions started," kuwento ni DJ Mo.

From there ay talagang riot na ang sumunod na mga eksena dahil talagang nag-name names na ang controversial DJ. ‘Ika nga, no holds barred.

"You know, I would think, I would put a lot of money on Paolo Ballesteros," diretso niyang sagot.

"A lot of people want me to say like Richard Gomez, but no, I think Richard has the right to run," sabi niya. "Maybe he doesn't have the political experience, but he has charitable experience and that would be enough."

Yan..."

Pero bigla naman siyang bumawi, "We live in a democratic country. The great thing about the constitution is that anyone can run. Porke't artista ka, di ka dapat tatakbo, why not? Anyone can run, that's the beauty of it. When you want to run, I think na... what you can do for your country. Really, really, what you can do for your country."

"Hindi naman pagsisisi, pero they could have done better. I think, I didn't like Rachel Alejandro's performance that much kasi nag-apologize siya later. I think Criselda Volks. Cassandra Ponti, and who's that another one, diva? Hero Angeles was okay. Really, they are not my favorites, but I appreciate their efforts," sabi niya.

"I wish, but the thing is, now I felt pressured," aniya. "Really, I'm serious. I'm really very, very shy. Super-shy about things like that.

"You know, I have my my own Forbidden Questions and one of the questions was, ‘Who have you gone out with na hindi alam ng mga tao?' And I said Joyce [Jimenez], right?

"And the next question was, ‘Have you tried being intimate?' I said, ‘No way!' I can't answer. When it comes to those things, ako, di ako magaling mag-answer. Hindi ako showbiz, mahiyain talaga ako. I can't do what my guests do, and I'm very open about that. Ako, duwag ako, e, para to play my game, I can't do it. I'll not do it."
