Ara Mina revealed that her younger sister Cristine Reyes cried to her several days before relenting to pose for a men's magazine scheduled this month.
"Tumawag siya sa akin and nasabi nga niyang kinukulit daw siyang mag-pose sa isang men's magazine," said Ara when she was interviewed by Joey de Leon last June 30 for Startalk.
The sexy actress said that she understands her sister's dilemma, given her young age, and that it is only normal to feel uptight about such decision.
Basta susuportahan ko siya kung ano man ang maging desisyon niya," said Ara, who took five years before agreeing to pose for FHM.
Ara also cleared up the issue about her advise that it's okay to accept the proposal but make sure that—her exact words allegedly were—"Huwag lang magpapababoy."
Being the ever supportive elder sister that she is, Ara expressed her desire to accompany Cristine to the shoot if her schedule permits.
Ara also spoke about the apparent rift between Cristine and sexy young actress Katrina Halili and admonished both parties to settle whatever differences they have. She also asked the media to stop pitting the two against each other.
