Actress Kristine Hermosa on the comeback trail

Young actress Kristine Hermosa recently posed for a men's magazine as part of her desire to give her career a shot in the arm after slowing down when she focused on her personal life.

Kristine Hermosa is raring for a comeback.

Taking the usual route to announce her reinvention, Kristine recently posed for a men's magazine, which is due for release this August .

While the pictorial done by Kristine isn't out-and-out sexy—the usual expectation when one says "men's magazine"—the pretty actress gamely showed her sensuality while maintaining the wholesome appeal that made her a certified darling of the masses several years back.

TV Patrol World, ABS-CBN's primetime newscast, visited the pictorial and briefly chatted with Kristine during occasional breaks. Kristine revealed that the shoot was part of her desire to boost her career after it slowed down while she focused on her personal life.

Many people have blamed Kristine's relationship and supposed marriage with actor Diether Ocampo for why her star lost its luster, enabling other young stars to take her place.

Recently, tinseltown was peppered with reports that the court already granted the annulment petition filed by Kristine against Diether last June 21, 2005. The pair was said to be married in a civil rite ceremony on September 12, 2004 in Nueva Ecija.

Both parties, as of press time, neither confirmed nor denied the annulment.

Kristine happily announced that she's slated to make her television comeback through a teleserye. She's also booked to do three movies this year, including another sequel of the highly successful Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Enteng Kabisote.
