Actor Ian de Leon said that he's constantly in touch with his mother, Superstar Nora Aunor, who is currently based in the United States.

Ian de Leon was very happy to inform PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that he and mom, Superstar Nora Aunor, are on speaking terms despite their geographical distance.

"Okay naman po. May constant communication naman kami through internet, phone, and text," Ian said over dinner during the presscon of GMA 7's latest telefantasya, Zaido, held last September 17.

Ian also revealed that he is planning to visit his mom once again in the United States before the year ends. His last visit was in April and May of this year.

How about his sister's relationship with their mother? It can be recalled that Lotlot de Leon openly voiced her disapproval of Nora's alleged same-sex marriage with manager Norie Sayo.

It was May of this year when reports started circulating that Nora and Norie allegedly tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 22, 2000. The validity of the supposed marriage remains in question though, as same-sex marriage is still considered illegal in Nevada unlike in other states, like Massachusetts for example.

"Alam ko nagkakausap sila," said Ian, pertaining to Lotlot and their mom. "Lately kasi nagkaroon ng issues pero alam mo naman ang issues, kakambal namin 'yan sa buhay. So sanay na kami, pero normal pa rin ang takbo ng buhay namin bilang magkakapatid and may constant communication naman kami sa isa't-isa... wala namang problema."

At this point, Ian simply refuses to be affected by all the intrigues and malicious rumors being attached to his mother.

"Wala na. Ayoko nang patulan 'yan. Kung mapipikon ka lang, sasakit lang ang ulo mo, papangit lang ang mukha mo," he said with a childish grin.

"As long as alam namin kung ano ang totoo at hindi, at si Lord ang bahala sa amin, okay kami, happy kami," he stressed in closing.
