When asked if she felt awkward while doing a love scene with John Lloyd Cruz for Maging Sino Ka Man, Bea Alonzo said with a giggle: "Siguro hindi.

The 20-year old actress said that she made a lot of preparations when she reprised her role as Jackie Madrigal. This is the same role that earned for her a Best Actress nomination at the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards.

She said, "Before I did Book 2, sobrang may hangover pa ako kay Basha sa One More Chance. Sobra. Ang ginawa ko, I had to watch our past episodes ng Book 1 just to be reminded of Jackie."

Her character Jackie is now married to Eli Roxas, played by onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz. At the end of Book 1, the two characters got married but there are people around them who don't want them to have their "happily-ever-after" ending.

Bea said that she had to face new challenges in reprising her role and refueling her chemistry with John Lloyd. Kasi ‘di ba ang sabi nila kapag mag-asawa na kayo, iba na the way you fight. Iba na the way you kiss. Iba na the way you hug each other. Pinagmamasadan ko yung mga mag-asawa like Jackie and Eli, na ganoon ka-passionate sa isa't isa. Na ganoon kalalim yung love," she said.

"Siyempre, we have to be considerate that we are doing a TV show.

Ani Bea, "Yung love scene namin. Punong-puno ng passion. Punong-puno ng love. At ako, hindi ako nahihiyang ipalabas. Na parang, ‘Oh my gosh. You shouldn't watch it.' Kahit my boyfriend should watch it. Kahit my mom should watch it."

"Ako noong ginawa ko iyon, I was being Jackie. Pero bago namin gawin yung mga ganoong klaseng ekseana, kailangan yung movements, de-numero iyan. Siyempre, hindi namin puwedeng gawin na parang ‘just go with the flow.' No. Oh no, no way. I'm still a lady. I'm still a woman.

"So, si John Lloyd is a very, very gentleman. Alam niya. Mararamdaman mo yung respect from him. No, no... parang hindi. And I think, doon pa rin pumapasok yung chemistry," she said.

Bea also expressed her delight about the additions to the cast, including Angelica Panganiban and Rosanna Roces. Both of them are artists with impressive acting credentials.

Acting with Angel. Acting with Veron, with Ms. Osang. Kasi sila yung major conflict ng buhay namin. Everytime nakikipag-eksena ako sa kanila, ang sarap. Ang sarap. ‘di mo ma-explain yung meaning na sobrang sarap na parang... ‘Ah, this is acting. Parang this is what I love doing.'"

REINVENTION. Bea though wants to venture into doing more complex and mature roles in the future, both in the movies and in television.

"Siguro naman I'm of age. Parang I just turned twenty and next year I'm turning twenty-one. So, adult na talaga. I think I'm ready.

Right projects and uh... yung pagpapa-seksi naman hindi ginawa iyon intentionally. That's for the characters na ginagawa ko. Para sa growth ng character.

And if ever she wants to do a movie with a darker role, Bea is all praises for Hilda Koronel and the movie Insiang.

She shared to PEP, " I've always been a fan of Tita Hilda Koronel. And sobrang na-amaze ako doon sa Insiang. If that's the project, why not?"
