Judy Ann Santos is set to endorse Bacolod Chicken Inasal. The said Pinoy restaurant says she's the perfect choice. According to Ms. Mary Rose Tanalgo-Meim, BCI's vice-president for marketing, "In real life, talagang mahilig siyang magluto. So in a way, may added credibility na here's a young girl na sikat, magaling magluto, and nasasarapan siya sa produkto namin. Cooking is her other passion. So sabi namin, since maganda naman yung nasimulang partnership with her because of the show

Last Tuesday, 18 December, Judy Ann posed for the pictorial and did the recording for the radio commercial at the DPI XL studios in Makati City.

Wearing a casual white top and capri pants, she arrived at past 5:00 p.m.

After the recording, sinimulan na ang shoot with ace fashion and commercial photographer Mark Nicdao.

Aniya, "When ABS-CBN approached us for a tie-up with their teleserye Ysabella starring Judy Ann Santos, natuwa naman kami kasi it's a very unique licensing agreement. We noticed talaga a direct effect sa sales namin ang pag-tie-up sa TV series na Ysabella."

The tie-up paved the way for the inception of Ysabella chicken last July, at naging maganda naman daw ang pagtanggap ng mga Pinoy.

When asked why they chose Juday, Ms. Meim said, "Actually, the reason nga why we're getting Judy Ann Santos to be our official endorser is because Judy Ann represents values na katulad din sa amin. Down-to-earth, simple. Filipino. Kasi ang pagkain that we serve is talagang simple, down-to-earth, Pinoy."

When PEP finally got the chance to sit down and chat with Judy Ann during her break, the actress mentioned her plan this Christmas: a traditional Noche Buena with her family and a number of close friends.

"Yes, we'll have the traditional Noche Buena. I don't know if I'll have the time to cook kasi I'll be coming from the Metro Manila Filmfest parade, e. The whole day, pagod tiyak. She wants to cook paella for our Noche Buena," ang kuwento ng lead star ng Metro Manila Filmfest entry na Kasal, Kasali , Kasalo.

Kung hindi naman daw super-hectic ang schedule niya, Juday really spends her spare time in the kitchen. "No matter how busy I am, I still love to cook."

"It really depends anong mood ko that day. Kasi sometimes, like if I see crabs, I buy crabs and then cook it. If I see shrimps, I buy shrimps and then cook it," ang sagot niya.

Dagdag pa niya, "When I'm in the mood naman to cook pasta, usually seafood and niluluto ko. But as much as possible I try to avoid yung mga cream sauce, kasi mas high ang calories nun, e. Fattening. So 'pag pasta, I use red sauce na tomato-based, o kaya pesto. Pero hangga't maaari, chili and garlic lang."

Still sporting a slim figure kahit na she doesn't have the time to go to the gym and exercise, Judy Ann reveals that she is a heavy breakfast eater.

"I eat rice and chicken tocino or fish longanisa. O kaya naman sardines. Basta hindi ako naka-diet, I have to start my day with rice. And then the rest of the day, mga salads. As much as possible, isang beses lang ako mag-carbs sa isang araw," ayon pa kay Juday.

"I also love anything that's chicken," ang sabi pa niya.
