The announcement of the community quarantine in Metro Manila has caused panic-buying among grocery shoppers—emptying shelves of food and sanitizing products.

This, despite government's assurance to Metro Manila residents that supermarkets will remain open.

The latest memorandum from Malacañang on March16 declaring an "enhanced community quarantine" over the entire Luzon, including Metro Manila, reiterated that food estabishments in Metro Manila will remain open.

It covers as well the continued operation of food delivery services.

With the strict implementation of "social distancing" and the enhanced community quarantine further limiting the movement of people in the metropolis, online grocery shopping has become an attractive proposition even more for convenent shopping.

Yup, the grocery items will be delivered straight to your doorstep!

Please take note that with the surge of demand for groceries, delivery delays are to be expected.
