Sam Milby clarifies two things: he and Bangs Garcia were never on and he has no child with Uma Khouny's sister.
First title role ni Sam ang unang pelikula ng Star Cinema for 2008, ang My Big Love. Ito ang pang-apat niyang pelikula after he was introduced in Close To You with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, and his third partnership with Toni Gonzaga after You Are The One and You've Got Me—all from Star Cinema.
For My Big Love, Sam and Toni will have Kristine Hermosa for a triangle. In the movie, Sam plays an obese chef in love with Kristine; he asks the help of gym instructor Toni to lose weight. This is from the script of Michiko Yamamoto and directed by Jade Castro, who helmed one of last year's outstanding digital movies, Endo.
Sa unang presscon ng pelikulang ipalalabas on February 27, Sam was open to all the questions thrown at him sa general question and answer portion.
Ang unang nabuksan na issue not connected with the movie ay ang relasyon daw nila ng Palos leading lady na si Bangs Garcia.
"We went out but we were never on," paglilinaw ni Sam. "This was before I entered Kuya's house [Pinoy Big Brother] and when she was still part of Close Up to Fame. We went out for about three weeks and then I joined PBB na, so it was the last communication I had with her."
Balitang naghinanakit si Bangs sa pag-deny sa kanya ni Sam, ngunit hindi na ito tinanong sa bida ng My Big Love para hindi mag-out of topic ang tanungan.
Sa solo interview, Sam described the three-week dating with Bangs "going there but never went there" sort of thing. He did not elaborate further para hindi na lumaki ang issue.
The other issue Sam answered was the blind item na, supposedly, may anak na raw siya.
Dalawa ang version ng blind item. First, may anak raw siya sa sister ni Uma Khouny. Second, may anak siya sa American ex-girlfriend niya sa U.S. Naitanong kay Sam ang first version.
"Not true," Sam answered simply. "We've [he and Uma] talked about this tsismis and laughed about it."
Hindi namin naitanong kay Sam ang second version ng blind item.
