After the interview of Annabelle Rama on The Buzzyesterday, March 9, her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez appeared in the followingsegment to explain her side. She alsoasked for the end of the snubbing issue between her and fellow actress LaniMercado.
But Ruffa contradicted her mother by saying,"You know, Tito Boy [Abunda, The Buzz co-host], it's not about who has the last word in it. For me, I want to keep my dignity. I wannaend everything now and it's just a simple issue and I only had good intentionto greet Lani.
"And you know," she continued, "she apologized also and shesaid that next time, babatiin na niya ako. Ako rin, I wanted to apologize toLani if ever may nasabi ako or mayroon akong hindi magandang nagawa sa 'yo. Iwould also like to apologize kasi kanina, when I went to church and yung sinabing pastor na, ‘All of us are sinners, anyway.'
"And whatever mistakes that I committed in the past, Ishouldn't be crucified for it, Tito Boy, kasi that's between me and God, that'snot between me and anybody else. AndI've already asked for forgiveness, marami na akong napagdaanan. And with everything that's happening now, Idon't deserve this."
FRIENDLY RUFFA. The former beauty queen again explained her intention of greeting Laniduring the birthday party of a GMA-7 executive. She realizedthat not all people could be as friendly as she is.
The TV host-actress said, "The reason why I greeted Lani inthe first place is because maganda naman ang intensiyon kong batiin siya. And kagaya ng sinabi ni Tita Lolit kahapon[March 8] sa StarTalk, hindi daw lahat ng tao mabait, hindi naman lahatng tao ma-PR. And I realized that. Hindi lahat ng tao kasing-public ko minsan,kasing-friendly ko minsan or kasing...
"Para kasi sa akin, Tito Boy, you know, with everythingthat's happening in my life, minsan nakakalimutan ko, ‘Ay, magkaaway pala yungdalawang taong ito or ganito.' So, you know, I just keep on remaining my trueself."
Ruffa promised, "I'm gonnacontinue to say, ‘Hello,' to everybody."
As she continued, Ruffa again opposed to her mom's earlierstatement. She said, "Ma, that's notbeing plastic.
Meanwhile, Ruffa also thanked Lolit for clearing herprevious statement linking her to Lani's husband, Sen. Bong Revilla.
A teary-eyed Ruffa said, "Actually, while I was watching StarTalkyesterday, naiyak talaga ako because at least [na-clear] na rin ni Tita Lolitna hindi ako naghahabol kay Bong.
"You know, sana naman respetuhin nila ako kasi I've changedalready as a person. Nung nagingKristiyano ako, I'm trying to live a decent life. Hindi ako perpekto, wala namang perpektong tao. But I have two kids now and sana respetuhinnila na may sarili na rin akong pamilya. Huwag na nilang halungkatin yung mga nakaraan kasi ang importante yungngayon, Tito Boy."
MESSAGES. Inthe end, Ruffa left a couple of messages for the people who have been draggedin the issue.
"I just want to end this," she started. "And huwag ka na ring magtaray, Ma,'no? Pumapangit ka, 'no? Mag-memorize ka na lang ng lines mo for MonsterMom [their movie together]."
She continued, "And to you, Tita Lolit, mahal din kita. Naiyak ako kahapon sa sinabi mo and sanamatapos na rin ito dahil wala naman talagang isyu.
"And to Lani and to Bong, stay together forever and sanamagkaroon kayo ng mas maraming anak. Sana mas magkaroon kayo ng many, many, more years together as acouple.
"And to my friends and my family who supported methroughout this, maraming-maraming salamat."
