On the rare days when Kris Aquino does not have to appear on TV, she just goes through this simple routine: paints her eyebrows in perfect half-moon shapes, curls her eyelashes, puts powder on her face, and colors her lips with red lipstick to complete the fun. “Happy na ako do’n,” she says. “Feeling ko, ang ganda ko na!”
On days when she does, Kris never goes out without Clinique Sun-Care UV-Response Face Cream “para di ako magka-dark-spots or freckles, kasi nasa lahi namin.” She also uses Clarins Body Treatment Oil for contouring and strengthening. She laughs, “Gumaganda ang shape ng katawan mo, I swear.”
After work, Kris removes her make-up with Lancôme Bi-Facil Non-Oily Instant Cleanser for sensitive eyes. And she always takes a warm shower before bed. “Obsessed ako sa mga body wash [from The Body Shop] talaga,” she says. “Gusto ko, every time na maligo ako, iba ang amoy. So ligo ako nang ligo.” After drying herself, Kris puts five to seven drops of Obagi-C Eye Contour 5% Vitamin C Serum to her eyes, and applies Obagi-C High Potency 10% Vitamin C Serum all over her face. Finally, she applies The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Freshener to counteract oiliness of the body.
Two to three months ago, Kris’s hair was colored a “bright, bright red.” On the day YES! had the pictorial, her hair color was “darker brown with red undertones.” By the time YES! went to press, she had extenders (P120,000+-, although Kris got a huge discount) and “long, black hair”!
Why all the changes? Says Kris: “Ayoko ngang ma-bored sila sa akin, kasi nga you’re seen so often. So, kailangan talaga, fresh.”
