The camp of Willie Revillame denied reports that the host and other cast members of Wowowee intentionally did not show up at a post-event party in Hawaii. While the production team admitted that they received an invitation, they did not accept, commit, or agree to attend.

"I felt really sorry for all those people, especially the older people. I was upset."

"ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation was not involved in the staging of the ‘Wowowee VIP Bash' held at the Rumours nightclub in Hawaii Thursday night as reported by the AP.

"It is also not in any way associated with Bigatin Productions, the supposed producer of the VIP bash.

"The Wowowee production team received an invitation from the organizers of the private party, but it never accepted, committed, or agreed to bring the stars of Wowowee except for the three dancers who showed up that night. They were also unaware that that tickets were being sold to the public at $100 each."
