Rhian Ramos to detractors: "Please stop."

Jun 10, 2008
"Gusto ko pong patunayan na pinaghihirapan ko naman 'yong trabaho ko at gusto kong i-earn 'yong mga projects at iba pang blessings na binibigay sa akin," defends Rhian Ramos against the rumors claiming she gets good projects because of her Tita Ida Henares, who is the head of GMA Artist Center.

Rhian Ramos had just arrived from China last week for the Supermodel Contest, where she won two plaques of recognition and a diamond necklace.

In an exclusive interview with Showbiz Central aired yesterday, June 1, Rhian excitedly narrated her experience during the competition.

She recounted, “Siyempre proud na proud kaming lahat dahil na-represent namin yung Philippines. At first, nung pagdating namin doon, medyo talagang nerbyos na nerbyos kami kasi yung iba’t ibang bansa, lahat sila, puro six footer. So kami parang ang pandak namin.

Talagang the way they were looking at the Filipina, talagang parang nai-impress sila, so siyempre, tuwang-tuwa na kami.

Aside from this contest, Rhian was also grateful for the hosting opportunity offered to her by Pinoy Idol Extra.

She said, “Siyempre, tuwang-tuwa kasi...well, unang-una, ito yung first hosting job ko sa GMA-7, so, sobrang excited ako kasi yun nga, may maipapakita ako na pwede rin akong mag-host.’Tapos, siyempre mas lalo siyang big deal kasi Pinoy Idol, di ba? Franchise nga siya of a very, very popular show.”

HATE MAIL. The other side of the coin: Some people have been trying to put her down.

Recently, PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) reported that there’s a hate mail which circulated on the Internet, accusing Rhian of cursing a fan.

So, Showbiz Central host Raymond Gutierrez asked Rhian, “Totoo bang may minura ka?”

Rhian immediately answered, “Of course not.

The young actress then started crying as she tried to defend herself. “I think I don’t deserve it kasi wala akong ginagawa na… I didn’t do anything bad to anyone. I don’t know why people…”

Rhian tried to stay calm but her tears just won’t stop as she continued her statement about the issue.

The major puzzler to Rhian is why people had to create nasty rumors about her.

“Nagsasali pa sila ng ibang pangalan ng artista,” complained Rhian. “So, mas lalo nang maraming magagalit sa akin. Siyempre, I don’t want to hurt anyone.

Though she had been trying so hard to brush things off, she just could help but feel helpless. “I’m affected kasi nakakalungkot na wala akong ginagawang masama,” said Rhian.

Gusto kong maging good example.

WORKING HARD FOR HER PROJECTS.” Another issue that people threw at Rhian was her affinity to GMA Artist Center Head Ms. Ida Henares, who happens to be her aunt.

Rhian became firm in saying her Tita has nothing to do with her projects.

“I’m trying so hard na mai-prove sa kanila na....alam mo ’yon, I’m earning naman what I get.

“MESSAGE TO DETRACTORS.”Rhian could not think of anything to say to her detractors.

She simply couldn't get it why some people had to invent rumors about her. “Help me understand kasi medyo hindi fair. Sila naman, they can say anything. Kahit ano pa, pwede nilang sabihin. Kahit kasinungalingan pwede nilang sabihin.

Rhian made an appeal to the public, “Please stop, and gusto ko lang gawin yung trabaho ko nang maayos at mabuti.
