Gabriela denies making statement in support of Marian Rivera

"We would like to make it clear that GABRIELA National Alliance of Women did not give any official statement regarding the aforementioned matter. It is the policy of our organization not to issue any statements regarding matters that we have full knowledge of," states Gabriela in an official statement about Marian Rivera's behavior in a YouTube video.

Itinanggi ng kilalang militant women's group na Gabriela ang lumabas sa mga pahayagan na sinusuportahan nila ang young actress si Marian Rivera kaugnay ng pakikipagtalo nito sa isang lalaki sa taping ng Dyesebel. Ang naturang eksena ay nakunan ng video at na-upload sa YouTube.

Naglabasan ang ilang artikulo na nagsasaad na sinusuportahan diumano ng Gabriela si Marian, na ikinagulat ng members and officers ng nasabing militant group. Wala raw silang ginagawang hakbang with respect to Marian's move. Pero hindi naman daw nila iniisip na ginagamit sila ng young actress.

Ito ang bahagi ng official statement ng Gabriela, through its Secretary General, Emmy de Jesus, stating na wala silang kinalaman sa mga lumabas na pagpapahayag nila ng suporta kay Marian:

"We would like to make it clear that GABRIELA National Alliance of Women did not give any official statement regarding the aforementioned matter. It is the policy of our organization not to issue any statements regarding matters that we have full knowledge of."
