Tom Rodriguez was not the always confident and smooth-talking ladies's man we've known him to be.

The Someone To Watch Over Me actor revealed in his PEP TALK interview with PEP writers Rachelle Siazon and James Patrick Anarcon, that back in high school while living in the U.S., he lacked confidence because he considered himself a geek.

"I was part of the computer maintenance and repair club there," Tom told PEP TALK.

The Kapuso hunk confessed he was very shy despite being part of the school's football team.

And just like his computer club buddies, he did not know how to approach a girl.

"All of us are geeks. We wanted the women to notice us, we didn't know how," Tom said.

Watch Tom tell how he and his friends solved their problem with their "3-Second Rule."

Tom also discussed in this interview how he can tell if a woman is interested in him just by reading her body language, some of which are shown in this TVC he shot with his friend Joseph Marco.
