KC Concepcion puts cameras on auction to support World Food Programme

When asked if it was her idea to hold an auction for a cause, KC Concepcion answered, "Sony Cyber-shot has always been very supportive of my business especially in World Food Programme. Thank you for that offering, to bring them resources."

KC Concepcion, National Ambassador Against Hunger of the UN's World Food Programme (WFP), finds a co-advocate in Sony Cyber-shot.

The brand's exclusive party, called "Armed and Fabulous," successfully merged fashion, gadgets, and charity last Friday, September 19, at the Rockwell Tent in Makati City.

All fashionistas who graced the event joined the bidding for three Sony Cyber-shot cameras , which were pre-owned by none other than KC. The bonus from the said cameras: they still have the photos of the 24-year old actress. The accumulated money from the bidding was awarded to WFP before the event wrapped up.

Aside from the camera auction, Cyber-shot owners also had the chance to see the creations of fashion designer Rajo Laurel, blended with Sony's three new additions to its T-series, in a mini-fashion show.

RnB singer Luke Mijares serenaded the spectators with "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," while images of fashion icons around the world were being displayed on a big screen.

Several celebrities made time for the event: Will Devaughn, Victor Basa, Christine Bersola, and Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 scholars Cris Pastor, Miguel Mendoza, Liezel Garcia, and Van Roxas.

Other celebrity couples who were spotted: Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano; Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsay.

The event was hosted by international singer Billy Crawford and 2002 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Karen Agustin.
