Camarines Sur Governor Luis Ray "LRay" Villafuerte held the 2nd Lago del Rey Summer Aquafest for his friends in showbiz and the press. The event was held at the Camsur Watersports Complex located within the Provincial Capitol Complex in Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur, last May 27 to 30.
"My commitment to Aquafest is to make it a different experience every year for the participants," the 41-year-old governor said. "And this year, it's gonna be a Survivor theme. While the international participants of the actual Survivor are competing in Caramoan against each other, tayo, we are here just to experience Camsur and have fun."
According to Gov. LRay, the celebrity Aquafest was supposed to happen in Caramoan, west of Camarines Sur. But they had to give it up because of the international Survivor franchises filming there.
