All eight official entries will openon Christmas Day, unlike in previous years when there were two batches offilms shown in cinema houses, the first on December 25 and the second, January 1.
For ten days, only locally produced films will be shown allover the Philippines, ensuring a captive market for producers lucky enough tomake the cut.
For the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival, PEP(Philippine Entertainment Portal) creates a microsite that carries informationabout the eight official entries, composed of four comedy films, two dramamovies, a horror trilogy, and an animated film.
