Beauty is now a lady!

Christine Marie Gonzalez became a famous housemate in Pinoy Big Brother because of her straightforwardness. But on the eve of her 18th birthday, she dropped her "Rebellious Beauty" tag and shone like a princess.

ABS-CBN Star Magic artist Christine Marie Gonzalez, also known as Beauty Gonzalez of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 2, celebrated her 18th birthday last May 28 at Torre Venezia, Timog Ave., Quezon City.

The night was young when the guests arrived at the venue garbed in their most glamorous and fabulous outfits.

Present in the Masquerade debut party were family and friends, who came all the way from Cebu and Dumaguete, including her fellow Kapamilya artists.

The program opened with a masquerade dance number by the Foxy Ladies, then right after, a nervous and excited debutante, in her purple beaded gown made by Wendel Quisido, entered the ballroom.

Beauty's girlfriends squealed some interesting stories about the birthday girl and also handed her meaningful gifts. Kitkat and Melissa Ricks, who served as the event's hosts, along with Kim Chiu, Empress Schuck, Nicole Uysiusieng, Linda Backlund, Jessy Mendiola, Empress Schuck were some of her 18 treasures.

The much-awaited 18 dances started with Beauty's co-stars in Tayong Dalawa, Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca. Her batchmates in PBB, Ejay Falcon, Alex Anselmuccio, Josef Elizalde and Mikan Ong, Gigger boys Arron Villaflor, Chris Gutierrez, Dino Imperial, AJ Perez and Robi Domingo were also part of the 18 roses. Star Magic heartthrobs Jon Avila, Xian Lim, Aldred Gatchalian, and John James Uy also danced with the debutante.

The emotional last dance of Beauty was with her father Mr. Manuel Gonzalez, of course.

After the dance came the singing, with Bugoy Drilon and Richard Poon as the surprise guests.Other guests spotted were Regine Angeles and direk Ruel Bayani, who worked with the half-Filipina, half-Spanish budding actress in Iisa Pa Lamang and Tayong Dalawa.

An AVP (audio-visual presentation) showed the birthday greetings of friends and relatives who were not able to make it to the party. Beauty’s mother, Mrs. Carina Gonzalez, also gave a touching message.

Beauty’s father led the toast, which got the celebrator teary-eyed. "Like what my invitation says, 'Only once does a girl turn eighteen,' and I made sure that this is going to be a memorable night not just for me but also for everyone. I won’t forget this night for the rest of my life. Thank you very much [to all] who took time to celebrate with me," said Beauty.
