It seems that Vilma Santos-Recto is all pumped up when it comes to helping the people of her province of Batangas. As governor, the Star for All Seasons has, with her team, thought of novel ways to provide opportunities for the people, and one of these is the "Bagong Hanapbuhay Alay sa Mga Kababayang Batangueño ni Mother Ricky Reyes," a teamup with fashion and beauty tycoon Ricky Reyes that aims to provide a livelihood for many people. Vilma readily explained the details of this project to Startalk.
Said Ricky: "When I called her up, avid siya sa pagtulong sa programa." Aside from that, Ricky also said that 6,000 scholarships would be given out in Batangas.
Vilma added, "With this project with Mother Ricky, may allowance pa sila.
With her full effort directed at Batangas, is Vilma ditching plans of running for vice president this coming elections?
"Maraming salamat po sa humihiling. I am really honored," smiled Vilma.
So which presidential candidate was asking her to be his or her running mate?
"Ayoko na," laughed Vilma. "I'm not entertaining it, but salamat po."
