Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo enjoy the public's interest in their domestic life

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos were in their usual element last night during the grand opening of Piandre salon in Quezon City. How's married life so far? Juday replied, "Masaya!" And then a smiling Ryan quipped, "Hindi pa naman niya ako sinosoli sa tatay ko, kaya okay pa naman."

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo welcome the nagging pregnancy question brought up by the media with every interview. The celebrated couple—who were married last April 28 in a quiet early morning ceremony at San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas—expressed amusement with the unceasing interest in their domestic affairs.

"Nasanay na kami," Judy Ann told reporters last night, August 18, at the grand opening of Piandre salon on Sgt. Esguerra St., Quezon City. Juday (Judy Ann's nickname) and Ryan attended the special occasion to grace the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"Masarap naman 'yong pini-pressure," the award-winning actress continued. "Ibig sabihin, concerned sa iyo 'yong mga tao sa paligid mo. Kesa naman wala silang pakialam sa kaganapan sa buhay naming mag-asawa, parang hindi rin naman masaya 'yon. Natutuwa lang kami, kasi may mga taong nag-aabang sa mga kaganapan sa buhay namin."

SUPPORTING KIKO'S VP BID. Last weekend, Juday and Ryan went to Hong Kong to join Megastar Sharon Cuneta and her husband Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan in their crusade to encourage Filipinos working abroad to exercise their right to vote through the Commission on Elections' Overseas Absentee Voting campaign.

The program was signed last June 4 to persuade overseas Filipino workers to participate in the upcoming 2010 national elections. Those qualified to register, as cited by GMA News, include Filipino permanent migrants, Filipinos based overseas who have become citizens of other countries, and Filipino spouses and fiancées of foreign nationals leaving the country.

Last May, at the press conference of her movie BFF (Best Friends Forever), Sharon announced Kiko's decision to pursue the vice-presidency as an independent candidate.

Ryan and Judy Ann openly express their full support to Pangilinan's candidacy, as proven during their recent overseas stopover.

The support they are extending is unconditional and will surely carry over to the actual backbreaking campaign period. According to Juday, "In fairness naman, whenever permitted lang ng trabaho namin. At saka sinasabi naman nila sa amin ahead of time 'yong schedule and they never pressured us na sumama.

"Kami lagi 'yong nagbibigay ng offer, kasi alam naming nahihiya sila at alam naming hindi sila lalapit sa amin kaya kami ang lumalapit sa kanila. Tutulong at tutulong talaga kami hangga't sa abot ng makakaya namin."

Aside from joining Kiko's campaign trail, the couple took advantage of the weekend holiday to get away from their busy work schedules. The Hong Kong trip also gave the George and Cecil lead stars ample opportunity to shop some more for their new house.

"Nag-shopping, namasyal, nag-exercise [at] kumain ng Peking duck!" said Juday, talking about their itinerary. "Kasi after nung wedding trabaho talaga kami and hindi rin naman kami nakapag-out of the country for our honeymoon."
