"I hate it when I see something na we're just being ignored like that. 'Kasi contract lang 'yan, puwedeng bayaran 'yan.' Okay, fine, let's see. As I said, it's not only money. We can prevent you from performing there by injunction. That contract is binding, ha. And under that contract, he cannot appear in any other TV stations without our consent," says GMA-7 boss Atty. Felipe Gozon (main photo) about filing a compliant against Mo Twister (inset).

"DJ Mo is a legal problem, strictly legal."

Felipe Gozon sa luncheon meeting niya with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other select entertainment editors last Monday, June 21.

Gozon, "we have the sole option to renew if we want to. Because he's transferring to Channel 5, we renew, and then he ignored it, so I filed a case and see whether there is a contractual obligation in this country or not. The last time I looked at the law, there was. In-ignore nila yung contract, e. They knew it. I called Channel 5 also, 'that this guy is under contract with us, we renewed it.'

"As I said, I want to see whether our laws are being followed by everybody or not. Because I'm basically a lawyer, e. I hate it when I see something na we're just being ignored like that. 'Kasi contract lang 'yan, puwedeng bayaran 'yan.' Okay, fine, let's see. As I said, it's not only money. We can prevent you from performing there by injunction. That contract is binding, ha. And under that contract, he cannot appear in any other TV stations without our consent.

Sabi ko, 'Sige pagbigyan n'yo na, send it again where he lives now.' Siyempre, expedite.

Binalewala kami, e, yung contract. You have to uphold the obligation of the contract," diin ni Atty. Gozon.

Gusto kong turuan ng leksyon some people. That's why Channel 5 is included in the suit, hindi lang si DJ Mo. Because under the law, you cannot alienate or cause somebody to violate a contract.

More than that, I don't want to comment anymore.

Parang it will not be constructive to retain JC.

"The position we, the company, took on this matter is to be neutral and depending on how these cases will come out. Because evidence na 'yan, e. At that time, we will take action kung sino ang tama," sabi niya.

TV5.

Gozon. "From our own experience, ha, it takes more than money to rise to the top in this industry. Dahil kami, we made it to the top without too much money.

"Kahit na may 10-hectare studio ka diyan kung wala ka namang mga talent at saka marurunong na writers at directors, what are you going to do with that, di ba? So it's not infrastructure; it's people, talent. Well, I think they know that also, that's why they are pirating left and right."

"We are very aggressive about that. That's what I'm going to say," makahulugang sabi ni Atty. Gozon. "At least kami, sanay na kami diyan. Lamang kami diyan."
