Sharon Cuneta's "Loving" fragrance is all about her outlook in life

After the "snubbing" incident involving Sharon Cuneta (in photo) and Aga Muhlach (not in photo) reached the papers, Sharon Cuneta admitted feeling "too low" last Monday, November 22. And to forget the issue, she resorted to playing a gem-swapping puzzler called Bejeweled. "Yun lang yung ginagawa ko para hindi ko maisip yung issue. Oo, yun lang. So sabi ko, 'Ang laking tulong pala nito.' Nung medyo kagabi, November 26, hindi

Throughout her 30 years in showbiz, Sharon Cuneta has successfully overcome the humps and bumps of her career.

From being the sosyal daughter of a wealthy politician, she was able to carve a masa image for herself.

From a painful breakup with her first husband Gabby Concepcion, she moved on, propelling herself to Megastar status and, at the same time, raising her daughter KC single-handedly.

From the numerous hubbubs that involved her name, she has seldom lost her cool, thus, making her one of the most loved stars in the industry.

The name of the fragrance she launched under Zen Zest is very apt, given her "loving" outlook in life.

"I chose all the names of all my fragrances," she beamed during the press conference of Zen Zest for her latest venture last November 26 at the Plaza Ibarra on Timog Avenue, Quezon City,

Shawie (one of her nicknames) continued, "That's basically what I am, what I'm feeling and what I know myself to be."

LOVING, THE PERFUME. Then she went on recalling how her fascination with perfumes began. "Si Mama, mahilig. So yung collection niya, talagang ini-spray ko," she related.

But she has always preferred the "citrus" scents over musk. "Gusto ko yung amoy presko. Parang cologne," the multi-awarded actress said.

"Kaya Loving, as I said, smells like me, and from the perfume of Philippe Collet in Grasse, France. It's of very good quality. Hindi lang galing France, galing sa reputable perfumer, and it's affordable.

Sharon's scent is a mixture of "fruity and flower aroma," and comes in a sexy bottle.

The Kapamilya star said she's very involved in this venture—from the name to the bottle to the packaging.

"LOVING" AGA? One topic discussed that afternoon was about giving her previous leading men, including their wives, a bottle of her perfume.

The mood was light, and the Megastar was her usually good-humored self.

"Kung mamarapatin nina misis, ba't naman hindi?" she said. "Hindi naman ako mapapahiya sa pabango."

How about Aga Muhlach?

She said, smiling, "Alangan namang si Aga ang bigyan ko? Ano lang, kung tatanggapin.... Siyempre, gusto ko lang, 'pag meron akong binigyan, galing 'yan sa puso ko."

When the media and press people were given the chance to have a one-on-one interview with Mega (Sharon's moniker), a reporter asked, Given her now-publicized rift with the 41-year-old actor, does she still see herself loving Aga as a friend?

"Oo naman," was her quick reply. "Hindi naman ako yung tao na nagtatanim ng sama ng loob. Sana nga maayos, maging okay na. Ang gusto naman natin ay maging peaceful ang lahat, di ba."

Then with paglalambing, she pleads, "Teng [how Sharon calls Aga], nag-sorry na ako...Ipagtanggol mo naman ako, o."

And while the public is waiting for further developments, Sharon will continue to strive shedding off the excess pounds.

In a serious tone, she told the editors and reports, "I'm sure I'll be better off in January than I am now. Sana tuluy-tuloy na."

She added, turning jokey again, "Kasi gusto ko namang maging karapat-dapat sa mga leading man na magbibigay ng pagkakataon sa akin na sumikat...Kasi, dream ko rin namang magka-billboard sa EDSA, kahit isa lang."

That day, she gave a lengthy explanation about her now-publicized "tampo" with Aga. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

She cried a few times. She even admitted that when she was feeling "too low" because of the issue, she resorted to playing Bejeweled, a gem-swapping game. But she was also being positive.

"Sana maayos pa," she said for the nth time.
