A star-studded fashion show is set to make a fusion like no other!
First, the show will gather several celebrities and models—like Daniel Matsunaga, Jon Avila, Will Devaughn, Guji Lorenzana, and Andrew Wolfe—and athletes on December 21, 7:00 p.m., at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
In a press conference last December 16, in Quattro, Timog Avenue, Quezon City, one of the project proponents, model Love Thadani, said, "Maraming surprise guests and celebrities. And they're doing this not for talent fee. They just want to help...."
Second, glamour and goodwill fuse in one night. The pre-holiday event will benefit Heart foundation, OFW Club Foundation, and Hope for Children Foundation.
Love Thadani related that an encounter with a street child moved him and his managing partner, Henry Oytaz, to put a socio-civic component to the show. "It all started when, one day, we were on the way back home at around 2:30 to 3:00 a.m. May isang bata, nagbebenta ng sampagita. So sabi ko sa kanya, 'Bakit ganitong oras ng gabi, nagbebenta ka pa ng sampagita? Di ba dapat natutulog ka na? Or, may school ka pa in the morning? Hindi siya uuwi hangga't di raw niya nauubos yung sampagita."
That experience propelled the two guys to come up with a foundation that will help street children "get back to school, eat on time, and have shelter."
Oytaz, who conceptualized the project, added that going to Quiapo and giving food to kids has become a tradition for him. "It is now a calling," and coming up with this fashion show, which will be supported by about 20 celebrities, is to prove that the "modeling world has a heart," he said.
Third, the event will also serve as the launch pad of the FusionExcel Quantum Pendant, which is not just an accessory. It produces scalar energy that is said to "enhance the biofield."
