A star-studded fashion show is set to make a fusion like no other!

First, the show will gather several celebrities and models—like Daniel Matsunaga, Jon Avila, Will Devaughn, Guji Lorenzana, and Andrew Wolfe—and athletes on December 21, 7:00 p.m., at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

In a press conference last December 16, in Quattro, Timog Avenue, Quezon City, one of the project proponents, model Love Thadani, said, "Maraming surprise guests and celebrities. And they're doing this not for talent fee. They just want to help...."

Second, glamour and goodwill fuse in one night. The pre-holiday event will benefit Heart foundation, OFW Club Foundation, and Hope for Children Foundation.

Love Thadani related that an encounter with a street child moved him and his managing partner, Henry Oytaz, to put a socio-civic component to the show. "It all started when, one day, we were on the way back home at around 2:30 to 3:00 a.m. May isang bata, nagbebenta ng sampagita. So sabi ko sa kanya, 'Bakit ganitong oras ng gabi, nagbebenta ka pa ng sampagita? Di ba dapat natutulog ka na? Or, may school ka pa in the morning? Hindi siya uuwi hangga't di raw niya nauubos yung sampagita."

That experience propelled the two guys to come up with a foundation that will help street children "get back to school, eat on time, and have shelter."

Oytaz, who conceptualized the project, added that going to Quiapo and giving food to kids has become a tradition for him. "It is now a calling," and coming up with this fashion show, which will be supported by about 20 celebrities, is to prove that the "modeling world has a heart," he said.

Third, the event will also serve as the launch pad of the FusionExcel Quantum Pendant, which is not just an accessory. It produces scalar energy that is said to "enhance the biofield."

(The website www. biophysicscenter.com defines biofield as "a quantum-level information or energy field that pervades the biochemical body and instructs it about how to function correctly. If blockages or other distortions exist in this field, the information is unable to properly instruct the biochemical body, and physical illness can result.")

THE PHENOMENAL PENDANT. To counter the fakes and imitations, which got featured in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, the official distributor Beau Visage has started implementing an extensive awareness campaign.

Aside from the Fashion and Fusion 2010, the group brought in personalities as brand ambassadors—Alvin Patrimonio, Allan Caidic, Samboy Lim, and recently Rhian Ramos.

The genuine pendant, according to company representative Eric Enrico , is manufactured in Malaysia using Japanese technology." Every purchase comes with an Authenticity and Product Registration Card bearing the product I.D. and password that have to be registered online.

It works by either wearing it with a chain or putting it inside one's pocket. Among the health benefits mentioned by Eric are—"it enhances circulation...it increases energy...it improves immune and endocrine sytems...and it's an anti-ageing."

The media and press people who were invited to the presscon witnessed its instant effect through a product demo. Holding the the pendant, it is easier to hold one's balance and feel less pressure from Love, who was tasked to tap the arms of those who participated.

Back to the event, ticket buyers will receive a personalized FusionExcel Quantum Pendant, and will get the chance to win any of the following prizes: a brand new black Tucson Hyundai, 55-inch LCD Samsung TV, phones and laptops.
