"When the time is right. When the price is right, ha-ha-ha! biro ng Filipino-Australian na dalaga.
Sumeryoso ito nang konti at saka sinabing, "No, when the time is right."
"Well, you know, marriage is something... two people should be ready for. Not just one.
"So, I might be ready, and he's not. Or he might be ready and I'm not. Mararamdaman naman natin yun, e... namin yun, e.
"And I'm still very young. There are still so many things I have yet to accomplish before I get to the settling-down phase in my life."
NOT SO POPULAR.
"I think it's all because people aren't that interested naman, e," nakangiting sabi si Iya. "I mean, we're no Oyo Boy [Sotto]-Kristine [Hermosa], we're no Piolo [Pascual]-KC [Concepcion]... You know, people are not that interested, and it works to our advantage. So, we get to keep it just between the two of us."
"When the prying comes, we'll avoid it. At saka I don't think we'd ever do anything that would trigger the prying. You know, like make a scene.
"It has always been between the two of us. And I think that might be the secret or something... It might be the reason why we lasted this long. Because we don't let anything or anyone get in the way," sabi pa ng isa sa mga hosts ng Us Girls, na magse-celebrate ng 5th year anniversary sa darating na Marso.
GET PASS THE FIGHTS.
"Yes, of course, we've had fights. But we always... we managed to always get past it. Cause there's more to it na, e. Parang we wouldn't want to lose it [the relationship] to something petty. Pinag-uusapan namin tsaka there's that question na, 'Are you really gonna lose me to this, or to that?'"
But so far, hindi pa dumadating sa point na kakalimutan nila ang seven years para sa ilang minutong tampuhan.
"If it's something that you're willing to overlook to spend a happy lifetime with that person, then I suppose that's love," may ningning pa sa matang nasabi ng 24-year-old TV host-actress.
