(UPDATED) Sharon Cuneta ends birthday concert in a wheelchair

Megastar Sharon Cuneta had a minor fall in her production number with Billy Crawford and RJ Jacinto during her birthday concert held last night, January 11, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Last night, January 11, Megastar Sharon Cuneta held her annual birthday concert at Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. And perhaps due to fatigue and a minor fall, the multi-awarded actress and singer ended the night in a wheelchair.

It was a long concert, starting at 8:45 p.m. and ending past midnight. It was also a star-studded event that gathered the best and the brightest of showbiz in celebration of Sharon's 33 years in showbiz.

It was also a free concert. Those who were seating in the audience were long-time fans of Sharon who knew every word of all her songs ever recorded.

All in the spirit of fun, the Megastar lent her soul in all of her performances.

In the opening number, she sang to an electronic recording of a song while dancing up a storm.

"Kaya n'yo yun?" Sharon asked the audience, stressing that she was wearing her tallest heels during the dance number.

In the middle of the concert, we saw her grooving to a rock medley. This led to a minor tumble on the stage.

Rock icon RJ Jacinto and international recording artist Billy Crawford were on the stage with Sharon during her graceful tumble.

Billy helped her get up, and Sharon sang along, and laughed along for the remainder of the number.

Later, the Megastar would joke about the tumble to her best friend, Ai-Ai delas Alas, who did an equally death-and-gravity-defying dance number.

"Buti ikaw bumabaligtad-baligtad lang, e, ako nahulog!" said Sharon while laughing along with the audience.

After six to seven more numbers, Sharon wrapped up the concert with a performance of Bruno Mars's "Just the Way You Are."

Reports received by PEP say Sharon felt woozy once she made it to her dressing room. She was placed on a wheelchair and taken to the hospital for a check-up.

Sharon's concert is a memorable night with loads of love and laughter.

The tumble and the fatigue that befell on Sharon is no big matter compared to the adoration the entertainment industry has for her. She just has to get up, dust off her shoulders, and move on to greater things.

SHARON'S TEXT MESSAGE. Meanwhile, Sharon sent a long text message to her fans and friends at around 4 this morning to explain what happened to her at the concert:
