"It is my hope that my story and endeavors will inspire more people to harness their goodness and greatness... That each and every one of us, regardless of our social status, has positive stories and deeds to share," says Dingdong Dantes in a statement sent to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

Last January 10 ay pinarangalan ng People Asia magazine ang napili nilang People of Year para sa 2010.

Rocky Evangelista, Rhett Eala, Ryan Cayabyab, Felino Palafox Jr., Rachy Cuna, at Jaime Bautista.

"Such recognition further motivates me, not only to sustain, but also to do what I can, if only to give justice to the honor you gave me, that gave value way beyond what I am notably capable of.

"As the horizon gives us a glimpse of the dawning of light for most of our fellowmen, I commit myself to continue helping illuminate that path, especially in providing access to knowledge and training to our country's future stewards. And our foundation, Yes Pinoy, will play a pivotal role to make this happen.

"It is my hope that my story and endeavors will inspire more people to harness their goodness and greatness... That each and every one of us, regardless of our social status, has positive stories and deeds to share."
