Forty celebrities walked the ramp for Bench, which mounted a rare rendezvous between showbiz and fashion last May 8, 2011, at the SMX Convention Center Halls 1 and 2.
It started an hour late because of the downpour, but the huge crowd didn't mind. What with presence of the industry's brightest and fast-rising stars.

Christian Bautista, who was part of the star-studded event, exclaimed, "Masaya pag ganito at nagkasama ang Kapamilya at Kapuso sa isang show. It was fun walking to show off what we can do to present out clothes kahit di naman professional models."
For Karylle, she loved every minute of it. "It's always fun, innovative, and sexy," she said.
The theme, as pointed out by Ben Chan—the man behind the clothing empire—was "basic must-haves."
It was a parade of bright colors, hip and fun designs, young and sexy outfits, with 100 models in attendance. The most applauded segment for the underwear collection, by the way, was styled by Noel Manapat and his team.
The show was directed by Robbie Carmona. and close to a thousand peope watched.
