At Philippine Fashion Week, ForMe held its very first fashion show, where trendy yet timeless pieces for Holiday 2011 collection were showcased.
The event, front lined by brand endorser, Charlene Gonzalez, carried the theme "Celebrating Women," which took note of every Pinay's wardrobe requirements—whether she's at home or at work, with family or friends.
Different sizes are available to flatter various body shapes — the hourglass, inverted triangle, rectangle, and triangle figures.
From the classic, feminine, and laid-back outfits, three collections were paraded by models during the May 12 show at the Function Room 5 of SMX Convention Center:
1. The Prim and Proper, which underlined soft and flowy dresses embellished with lace inserts, soft pleats, tiers, draping and belted waistbands in dusky pastels and nudes.
2. Charmed Life, which was characterized by modern yet romantic details such as lighter-than-air layers, fluid silks, filmy chiffons, and fine knits with lightweight boucles and tweeds in blush, champagne, and taupe colors.
3. The Perfect Holi-date, which highlighted lace, sequins, embroideries, brocade, and metallic fabric and yarns, plus dark colors mixed with bright jewel tones, such as teal and winter pink.
